Weather conditions and ballooning

How the weather can affect our hot air balloons

Hot air ballooning is largely dependent on the weather. To ensure we can provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience we require light winds, no rain and good visibility.

At Cameron Flights we have a 24-hour weather check line which passengers can call ahead of their flight, as directed by our booking staff, to ensure that their experience will be going ahead as planned and to double check confirmed meeting times and locations.

Our hot air balloon rides operations are continually updated with information specifically provided to Cameron Flights by the Met office. Should your balloon flight be cancelled due to un foreseen poor weather conditions we will re-schedule your flight as soon as conveniently possible.
